One of the Arkansas Water Works & Water Environment Association (AWW&WEA)'s top priorities are health concerns and the safety of the employees and contractors of the industries we serve. For that reason, we believe it is in the best interest of our exhibitors, attendees and sponsors that we postpone our Annual Conference (currently scheduled for April 26-29, 2020) to another date later in 2020.
AWW&WEA continues to monitor updates from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as the advice and updates released daily from the Professional Conference Managers Association (PCMA) on the escalating global impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on people's lives as well as other conferences and events around Arkansas and the world.
We are diligently and feverishly working with all entities necessary to complete the process of fully integrating to a new date pattern. Additionally, we're working with the agencies of the Arkansas Department of Health and the Division of Environmental Quality to work out a plan regarding attendees' continuing education credits they would normally receive during our Annual Conference in April. New details and information will be posted on AWW&WEA's website (www.awwwea.org), Facebook and Twitter once it's finalized. We kindly ask that you please bear with us as we work to gather all of the information.
REGISTRATION TRANSFERS / REFUNDS
For those that have already registered to attend the 2020 Annual Conference in April, you may choose to transfer your current registration to the new Conference date (to be determined) OR you may request a refund. Refund requests should be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the information below included with the refund request.
Attendee First & Last Name
Refunds will be processed in the order in which they're received. Please allow a few weeks for processing.
If you made a hotel room reservation for the April 2020 AWW&WEA Conference in Hot Springs, please be sure to cancel it as soon as possible. ARG is not permitted to cancel any hotel room reservations booked by attendees.
In adhering to the Mayor of Little Rock's plea for those businesses that are able to work remotely to do so, the Angela Rogers Group (AWW&WEA's Executive Administrator and Conference Management team) is currently working remotely and are not physically in the office. If you have any questions, please do not call the office, but rather email either email@example.com. Please be advised that the ARG team is currently experiencing an extremely high volume of communications so response may be delayed.
Postponing the AWW&WEA Annual Conference was certainly not an easy decision but we are confident that we will overcome this outbreak more easily if we stay rational and focused.
We appreciate your continued support and patience.
